Cindy Batchelder, Young Fives

Cindy.jpg
Cindy got her start in education back when her children were in elementary school. Cindy was fascinated with the teaching style of their first grade teacher. She explored the small things in life, like how a blade of grass grows, or why is the sky blue. Cindy's passion for educating the whole child was contagious and it wasn’t long after that experience that she sought out the Montessori Method and realized that this way of offering the learning materials to the children matched my beliefs in education. Cindy learned as much about Maria Montessori as she could and when given the opportunity, Cindy earned her Infant and Toddler and Primary diplomas in Montessori education. This is Cindy's third year at Concord Academy Boyne and she is proud to have been able to offer a unique blend of the non traditional style of education, that of Montessori, and the more traditional method of education, public school. Cindy is proud and excited to be a part of the CAB family and looks forward to educating many more children in the years to come.
