Enjoy this continuation of the classic Robin Hood story, when Robin, the daughter of Robin Hood and Lady Marian, is ordered by the Queen to get married on her 18th birthday.

Ticket prices are $5 for general seating, and $8 for reserved seating. General seats will be available at the door.

Fifteen juniors and seniors, along with eight chaperones, will journey to Stratford, Ontario to see Hamlet.

Interested parents, teachers, and students will meet to discuss creating healthier lunch options for our students.

 

    Mrs. Leist would like to make parents aware of a field trip opportunity on Thursday, October 30.  LSSU is sponsoring Paul Rusesabagina, whose life was the basis for the film Hotel Rwanda, to give a FREE presentation to the public.  The topic of his speech will be “The Real Effects of Discrimination & Public Complacency”.  Permission slips went home with students this week, so please be sure to get them back to either Mrs. Leist or Ms. Christensen.  We will be trying to organize the ride back by geographical area, so that some students and teachers will not have to return to Boyne unless necessary, and they will get home earlier as well.  Parents are also welcome to attend!

Most of the juniors and seniors will take Current Events next semester, and this is a great opportunity to be exposed to one of the topics we’ll be covering in that class: the effects of genocide on global relations.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Leist!
