Matthew Baughman, English/Social Studies/Guidance Counseling

Mr. Baughman has taught in China and Bolivia as well as Michigan. He earned a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Education (with a History minor) from the University of Michigan. He enjoys playing the flute, riding his motorcycle, and spending time outdoors.

Sarah Baughman, English/German/Journalism/Website

Mrs. Baughman has taught in China and Bolivia as well as Michigan. She has a B.A. in English and German from Grinnell College and an M.A. in Education from the University of Michigan. She enjoys writing, horseback riding, running, playing the violin, and spending time outdoors.

Megan Blamer, Spanish

 

Adrianne Dodd, Science

Mrs. Dodd graduated from Michigan State University with her teaching certification in Biology (major) and Chemistry (minor), with an additional major in Zoology. She also has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Michigan State University. Mrs. Dodd is a certified group fitness instructor who teaches Pilates at North Central Michigan College. She also enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, and pursuing outdoor recreation.

Peg Faulman, Math

Mrs. Faulman earned her Bachelor's degree from Hope College and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Elmira College in New York. She enjoys reading historical fiction, biking, and showshoeing.

John Herzog, Grade 6

Mr. Herzog has a B.A. in Education and an M.A. in Educational Leadership. He enjoys spending time "pursuing my two moppets" and says his family enjoys "being out in the great outdoors – skiing/snowboarding, going on nature hikes, gardening, boating, and playing tennis with Mr. K."

Becky Leist, English/History/Drama/Creative Writing

Mrs. Leist earned a B.A. in English with Minors in History and Secondary Education at Grand Valley State University. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and cooking.

Joe McPherson, Student Teacher

Mr. McPherson, a Central Michigan University student, is working as a student teacher in History with Mrs. Leist and Mr. Baughman.
